Our passion lies in preserving and advancing the exceptional bloodlines of the long coated German Shepherd (Langhaar Schäferhund). We carefully select our breeding dogs from top breeders in Poland who have spent over 28 years refining this remarkable lineage. Each dog is imported through proper legal channels, fully documented, and registered with both the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI). We are committed to ethical breeding practices and do not engage in any form of inbreeding.
Health is a top priority. All of our breeding dogs are DNA tested through Embark and have certified hips and elbows through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), ensuring that each puppy originates from genetically sound and physically healthy parents.
Based in beautiful Alberta, Canada, we are proud to provide top-quality puppies to loving homes across North America and internationally. Whether near or far, our mission is to share the intelligence, loyalty, and versatility that define this exceptional breed.
We exclusively offer companion-only puppies sold without breeding rights. All buyers must agree to a strict Non-Breeding Contract, and CKC registration papers and pedigrees will only be released upon verified proof of spay or neuter. This policy reflects our dedication to responsible ownership and the continued integrity of the breed.
When you choose one of our puppies, you are welcoming a loyal, well-bred companion raised with care, purpose, and love.
As previously mentioned, our breeding dogs are proudly registered with both the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI). The CKC serves as Canada’s national registry, upholding the highest breed standards and ensuring the integrity of pedigrees across the country. The FCI, recognized as the world’s foremost canine authority, is comprised of 98 member countries and contract partners. It is responsible for maintaining international breed standards, coordinating judge training, and overseeing the registration of 356 officially recognized breeds. Each breed is managed by its country of origin, which develops and maintains the breed standard in collaboration with the FCI’s Standards and Scientific Commissions.
All of our puppies are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) at the time of sale. However, in accordance with our strict Non-Breeding Agreement and companion-only placement policy, official CKC registration certificates and pedigree documentation will only be released upon receipt of written veterinary proof confirming that the puppy has been spayed or neutered. This condition is non-negotiable and is intended to uphold responsible ownership and prevent unauthorized breeding. Once this requirement has been met, registration documents will be made available upon request.
We believe that a healthy puppy starts with a strong foundation. Our German Shepherds are fed high-quality food, kept on a consistent schedule, and monitored closely to maintain proper weight and growth. They are raised in a calm, clean environment with daily playtime and interaction, helping them stay active, social, and emotionally balanced. There is no history of hip or elbow dysplasia in our bloodlines, and we take every step to maintain that standard. All of our adult dogs are tested at twelve months of age for hips, elbows, and genetic conditions, including Brucella Canis. Test documentation is available upon request.
While genetics play a key role in long-term health, proper care during the early stages of life is just as important. Several factors can negatively affect a developing puppy, such as rough play with larger or older dogs, jumping on or off high places or surfaces, overexercising during growth, poor diet, rapid weight gain, lack of socialization, high-stress environments, and early spay or neuter before the dog has fully matured. We encourage all puppy owners to be mindful of these risks and reach out to us with any questions. We are always happy to provide guidance to ensure your puppy stays happy and healthy.
Temperament is equally important when selecting a puppy. Our dogs come from champion bloodlines known for producing intelligent, calm, and obedient companions. These bloodlines are easy to train and well suited for families, offering a confident and stable personality from a young age. We take great pride in raising puppies that are not only physically sound but also mentally balanced and emotionally well-prepared for life in their new homes.
At our kennel, responsible breeding is the foundation of everything we do. We approach breeding with dedication and purpose, viewing it as a long-term commitment to the health, temperament, and preservation of the long coated German Shepherd. Our breeding dogs are cherished members of our family, and their physical and emotional well-being is always a top priority. Each dog receives exceptional care, a well-balanced lifestyle, and daily enrichment both indoors and outdoors.
We are committed to producing happy, healthy puppies that are well-socialized and prepared to thrive in loving, responsible homes. Our breeding program follows the highest ethical standards, including comprehensive DNA testing, certified hip and elbow evaluations, careful genetic planning, and a strict policy against inbreeding. Each of our dogs comes from a well-documented lineage, with pedigrees that trace back at least eight to ten years. This level of detail allows us to make informed breeding decisions that protect the integrity of the breed and promote long-term health.
We are highly selective in placing our puppies. We work with individuals and families who share our commitment to providing lifelong care and who understand the responsibilities of owning such a unique and intelligent breed. The long coated German Shepherd is a remarkable companion, and we take our role in preserving its excellence very seriously.
Our support does not end when a puppy leaves our care. We are always available to answer questions and provide guidance at any stage of your dog’s life. Whether you need help during the adjustment period or encounter challenges later on, we are here to support you.
